HaPpIE NUYeer. So What's New!

First post since 1.1.11, back at work for 2 days and I'm already addicted to coffee every morning. lol Hope everyone enjoyed their New Years Eve. I enjoyed a semi quiet one which was nice. I'm sure there will be plenty of drama and excitement throughout the year, so its best to take it easy now. Taking a look at some of the new campaigns to hit February and March Magazines I'm guessing plenty took a page from the end of last years colors. I figured Spring campaigns would look a bit brighter but I noticed a trend of desaturated subtleties that are beautiful none-the-less. Check out some of the Campaigns this up coming season. Let's not forget some great new editorials. One of my favorites to kick off the New year is Crystal Renn's sultry appearance in Muse 24 Winter 2010 which has now made its way to American News Stands. Shot by Chad Pitman with a perfect blend of Helmut Newton and Avedon inspiration its a great platform for Renn's glamorous edge and sex appeal.

Rihanna and Such

Like a Black Madonna or Cher this chick keeps popping up with a new look like every 2 minutes. Check out my fellow Bajan on the cover of Interview January 2011. The Color is amazing and the images are so slick you can fry chicken lol. Shot by great photographer Mikael Jansson and styled by Ludivine Poiblanc. Way to bring in the New Year Rihanna! 2011 is looking bright and colorful.

Another Great story I'm happy to share with you is new editorial shot by Yoshiaki Sekine and amazing Styling by Alex van der Steen in the new Surface Magazine February 2011 issue. It's a wonderful futuristic take on Nomads with some great pieces from Acne, Catherine Malandrino, Sexy bathing suits by Herve Leger, awesome shoes from D squared, and a pair of bad ass skinny Jeans from Hudson Jeans Resurrection Collection.
